The Durham Council of Garden Clubs (DCGC) presented Outstanding Achievement Awards to three of its member clubs. Award recipients are Town & Country Garden Club, Daylily Garden Club, and Heritage Garden Club.
The chosen garden clubs provided gardening and beautification expertise to a number of Durham charitable projects, including the Durham VA Hospital Poinsettia Project and the Briggs Ave. Community Garden. Many members of these clubs also volunteer at the Duke Gardens or as master gardeners.
