Uprooted by Page Dickey (Timber Press, 2020) is an account of the joys and tribulations encountered in her relocation from one gardening location to another.

The numerous plants Dickey chooses for her new property are helpfully listed by their botanical and common names, but information on recommended plants is not the main reason for reading this book. Dickey’s beautiful descriptions of discovering nature’s seasonal surprises hidden in her new woods, wetlands, and pastures will provide lovely images as you read this book.
